Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Safar vehicle rental services. By booking a trip with us, you agree to these terms.
1. General Terms
By using our services, you agree to the following general terms:
- Start / End Km and Hours are calculated from pickup / drop off locations.
- Please read all communications carefully as they form part of your contract with us.
- Vehicles must stay on the agreed-upon route.
- SAFAR reserves the right to provide a similar vehicle if the booked car is unavailable.
- Additional charges must be paid directly to the driver via cash/UPI.
- Drivers will not exceed speed limits as per the Indian Motor Vehicles Act.
- SAFAR may terminate any booking at any time without prior notice.
- For airport/railway transfers, ensure you allow sufficient time for traffic delays.
2. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you are responsible for the following:
- Checking the vehicle before departure and ensuring all personal belongings are secure.
- SAFAR is not responsible for any lost or damaged items during the journey.
- Providing accurate pickup and drop-off information.
- Informing us in advance about any special requirements or changes to your booking.
3. Vehicle Operations
3.1 Breakdown and Support
- In case of vehicle breakdown, we will arrange an alternative vehicle for major issues.
- For minor repairable issues, the vehicle will be fixed with minimal delay.
3.2 Driver Conditions
- Drivers will not enter No Entry zones or drive on restricted roads.
- Standard working hours are 12 hours; additional hours require prior arrangement.
- Certain restrictions apply in hilly areas for safety reasons.
4. Booking and Pricing
4.1 Pickup and Drop-off
- Standard bookings include one pickup and one drop-off location.
- Multiple stops require prior notification and may incur additional charges.
4.2 Pricing Policy
- Rates are subject to change based on fuel price fluctuations.
- Route changes may affect the final price.
5. Special Conditions
5.1 Intercity Travel
- Some areas have vehicle restrictions; alternative transport may be needed at additional cost.
- Parking at certain destinations may require walking from designated areas.
5.2 Force Majeure
No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to:
- Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
- Government actions or political unrest
- Transportation strikes or operational issues
- Other circumstances beyond our control
6. Liability and Insurance
- SAFAR is not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss of property during the trip.
- Customers are advised to secure their own travel insurance.
- Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the passenger.
